ABOUT SILVER PEN PLATING SOLUTION

The solution is designed specifically for the pen plating of silver. The silver plating solution allows you to re-plate worn silver and to silver plate many different metals. This solution is mostly used to plate kitchenware, jewellery, and antiques, it is also ideal for selective or so called ‘spot’ silver plating of jewellery. The produced material is a hard-wearing, long-lasting silver plate which will not chip, flake or peel.

HOW SILVER PEN PLATING SOLUTION WORKS

The Pen plating method works on a smaller scale. The plating probe is primed with a plating nib and this is used to ‘paint’ over the item. It is similar to brush plating. Pen plating is popularly used for intricate and finely detailed items as the plating nib offers more control than using a swab.
